QuantHub ("we", "us", "our") operates the quanthub.ai website and the QuantHub Morning Briefing email service. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what's needed to deliver your briefing:
- Email address — provided when you sign up for early access.
- Ticker watchlist — the stock symbols (and optional weights) you configure on the setup page.
- Usage data — email open/delivery status from our email provider to monitor deliverability.
We do not collect passwords, financial account credentials, brokerage data, or payment information (until a paid tier is introduced, at which point Stripe handles all payment processing directly).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Generate and deliver your personalized morning briefing email.
- Analyze your watchlist to produce portfolio health grades, research signals, and market context.
- Send service-related emails (welcome messages, product updates).
- Monitor email deliverability and fix delivery issues.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate QuantHub:
- AI Analysis Provider — We send your ticker symbols (not personal information) to our AI provider to generate personalized market narratives. No email addresses, names, or financial account data are shared with the AI service.
- Market Data Providers — We use Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) and MarketData.app to fetch stock quotes, options chains, and market data for the tickers you specify. Only ticker symbols are sent to these providers — no personal data.
- AWS Simple Email Service (SES) — We use AWS SES to deliver briefing emails. AWS processes your email address to deliver messages and track delivery status. Subject to the AWS Privacy Notice.
- DigitalOcean — infrastructure hosting. Data stored on US-based servers.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored in a database on our secured, access-controlled server.
- All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- Server access is restricted to SSH key authentication only.
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
5. Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Update your portfolio via the settings page.
- Unsubscribe from briefing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Delete your data — email us and we'll remove your account and all associated data within 7 days.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies provided by third-party services. These technologies help us understand how visitors use our site and allow us to reach potential users through advertising platforms.
Cookie Categories
- Essential — We do not currently set any essential (strictly necessary) cookies.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (GA4) sets cookies (e.g.,
_ga, _ga_*) to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, session duration, and traffic sources. This helps us improve the site. Data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
- Marketing — Meta Pixel sets cookies (e.g.,
_fbp) to measure ad effectiveness and deliver relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Data is processed by Meta in accordance with Meta's Privacy Policy. LinkedIn Insight Tag sets cookies (e.g., li_sugr, bcookie) to measure ad performance and enable retargeting on LinkedIn. Data is processed by LinkedIn in accordance with LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.

QuantHub is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
